From Professional Roasting Training to Creating Her Own Coffee Brand

We are delighted to see another Green Stone Coffee Academy student transform what she learned into a coffee creation of her own.

After completing Intermediate and Professional-level coffee roasting certification training at Green Stone Coffee Academy, Yao-Rong continued developing her hands-on roasting and cupping experience and later founded her own specialty coffee brand, Scent Pursuit Roasters.

In 2026, she selected a natural-processed coffee from Alishan, Taiwan, for submission to Coffee Review and the inaugural Kenneth Davids Cup, earning an impressive score of 95 points.

The coffee displayed a distinctive and sweet tropical fruit character, with expressive fruit aromatics and rich sweetness that highlighted the delicate qualities and unique potential of Taiwan’s high-mountain coffee.
